Reclaimed Wide Plank Flooring
You name it, we’ve got it. Reclaimed Heart Pine, Reclaimed Oak, Reclaimed Cypress, Reclaimed Hickory, Reclaimed Walnut, Reclaimed Wormy Chestnut, Reclaimed Tobacco Pine, Reclaimed Douglas Fir, Reclaimed Beech/Maple, Reclaimed White Pine and Mixed Species Reclaimed Hardwoods… just to name a few. These reclaimed woods are taken from turn-of-the-century structures including barns, farm houses and factories which have naturally aged and are re-purposed into hardwood flooring for your home or business. Bay flooring, granary boards, roof rafters, floor joists, and structural beams are the most common parts of a structure that we mill our flooring from.
Old Growth Wide Plank Flooring
Love the look of a wide plank floor but not sure that reclaimed is the product for you? Our Old Growth wide plank flooring is milled from standing or fallen dead, slow-growth trees. Typically harvested from the mid-west and Appalachian states, these timbers retain one-of-a-kind character and strength. All old growth flooring options are available in smooth surfaces or can be cut using turn-of-the-century milling techniques to authentically create the same finish as the lumber cut and used to build our nation’s barns and other wooden structures. Some of our old growth species include; Old Growth Oak, Old Growth Cherry, Old Growth Walnut, Old Growth Hickory, Old Growth Wormy Red Oak, Old Growth Maple, and Old Growth White Pine.
Antique Timber Beams
In the past, barns and stables were the center of America’s agrarian culture. These structures were built with care and craftsmanship and since families relied on the structural integrity of these buildings for survival, each one was supported by the strongest beams available. In using the best materials for support, families could feel confident that their animals and harvest would be protected from the elements. As the nature of our society continues to change, old barns – together with aging factories and industrial buildings – are now being reclaimed for the quality of the old growth wood and timbers used to construct them. The strength and character of these materials cannot be duplicated by today’s technology.
Our solid, hand hewn and rough sawn beams, which we specially select for their quality and appearance, can become a thing of beauty for the interior or exterior of your residential or commercial project. Their structural and decorative applications are limited only by your imagination.
We offer a variety of reclaimed wood beams and posts from centuries-old structures. With their rustic, yet refined appeal, these beams include saw marks from the original saw blade used to mill them or axe cuts from the craftsman who squared them by hand. We hand select every one of our beams for premium quality and aesthetic appeal so you can be confident using them as part of your project.
Antique Barn Wood Siding
Dismantling a barn means a new life for its wood. Although naturally weathered by years of exposure to the elements, antique barn siding – made from virgin, old growth wood – is still prized for its rustic patina and dense, enduring nature.
We reclaim old barn wood siding by carefully dismantling barns and other wooden structures in America’s East and Midwest. Each plank is hand-inspected and denailed, kiln-dried to remove moisture and impurities, and then milled into distinctive wood of strength, character and durability. Meticulously sorted by color and width, our barn siding is available in grey/brown, white/grey and red/grey.
Reclaimed Fireplace Mantels & Feature Posts
We offer an unparalleled selection of reclaimed timbers that are custom finished for use as fireplace mantels or feature posts. Each timber is truly one-of-a-kind and these antique mantels will become a conversation piece in your home or business because of the dramatic significance they add to your fireplace. Each of our premium timbers is hand-selected and custom finished by our craftsmen to give it a unique feel all its own. With original mortise and tenon holes, checking and patina, these mantels will truly make an impressive statement.
Reclaimed Wine Barrel Wood
Whether you’re taken by its sheer beauty, or enthralled with the history that’s stamped on the barrels, our vintage wine barrel collection enhances the uniqueness of a wine cellar, bar, kitchen, game room, restaurant or any other room for that matter. These authentic wine barrels are painstakingly disassembled and milled into three very distinctive products lines. Cooperage represents the outside of the barrel head with all of its patina, cooper’s stamps and special markings. Infusion displays the inside of the barrel and the wood retains the natural stain from the color of the wine. Stave displays the outside of the barrel and shows prevalent markings from where the metal hoops have been removed.

Reclaimed TimberTiles, offered by Reclaimed DesignWorks, are the finest wood tiles available. Made from barnwood from the Western United States, this series of handmade tiles adds depth and beauty to any room. We like to say that these tiles are made in America…twice! And while the beauty of the wood is incredible, the story behind the wood is even better. The American ranch helped build the West, and now with Reclaimed DesignWorks’ TimberTiles, this living history can be a part of your home or business. Reclaimed TimberTiles come in a series of formats, patterns and colors on a patent pending backing system that allows them to be installed with thin-set material just like a traditional tile. Each tile is coated in a low VOC, water based ceramic finish so they can be installed as wall treatments, backsplashes, wainscoting or artwork.
Reclaimed DesignWorks’ authentic collection of barn stone features what was once regarded as some the world’s finest sandstone. Locally quarried back in the mid-1800′s to early-1900′s, Northern Ohio sandstone maintains a density that far exceeds stone from other regions, which made it the preferred building material of the past century. Our authentic barn stone is offered by the bulk pallet in a random mix of shapes, sizes and colors or as decorative barn stone veneers for interior installation. This unique “lifetime” stone will provide a subtle beauty that will accentuate any exterior living space or interior room in your home or business.
We have a limited supply of reclaimed maple boxcar planks. These maple planks were used as the original floor in railroad boxcars and were removed when the railroad car was decommissioned. These planks are beautifully worn from years of use and their size and thickness make them ideal for residential or commercial use as table tops, bar tops, islands, benches, shelving and more. Each plank is 2-1/4” thick x 12” wide x 8’ long.
